Recreation Sports Camp is designed to work on general activities that assist campers across all sports and promote teamwork, balance, movement, activity, and exercise. It is not geared to any particular sport or event.

The camps are open to both boys and girls, and each camp has limited space. Registration is available online on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are taken. Registration isn't complete until an account is set up, the child is enrolled, the fee is paid, and the transaction is complete with an email validation receipt. Sports Camp does not offer in-person registration.

Campers will be separated into small groups by age and assigned to a team leader. Each group will round robin through activities that support movement, activity, agility, drill skills, and teamwork, all while getting the recreational exercise needed in a fun and friendly environment. This is not a competition; every participant is a winner! Groups formed will work together for the whole camp.

Camps will be designed with indoor and outdoor activities to support recreational conditioning and held at locations that include outdoor green space, ball fields, restrooms, and an emergency building with indoor access should the weather not cooperate.

When to Register

Registration takes place periodically during the year and will be posted to the Terrebonne Parish Recreation Facebook page. Be sure to follow us on social media for the latest information on upcoming camps. Campers must reach the minimum age by August 1 of the current year.

How to Register

Registrations are accepted during the dates and times posted for each activity. Call or email for more information. Be prepared to provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate for age verification.
