In 2017, Parish President Gordon E. Dove and the Parish Council agreed to lease the existing tennis complex (former Renaissance Health and Racquet Club) in an effort to provide an opportunity for all parish citizens to utilize an existing 10-court tennis complex for daily play, tournaments, and leagues at a minimum cost to the public.
The Terrebonne Parish Tennis Complex on Southdown Blvd consists of 10 courts which are managed and maintained by a local tennis professional - Strictly Tennis. The complex is open (weather permitting) at the following times:
Courts 1 & 2 are free and open to the public on a first-come-first-serve basis for up to one hour for singles and two hours for doubles when others are waiting to play.
Courts 3-10 are available for play by scheduling through the Pro Shop or at time of arrival if courts are available. Rates are as posted per Sec. 21-33 Terrebonne Parish Ordinances.Contact the Pro Shop: Tennis Complex Rules and Regulations
The Williams Avenue Tennis Complex consists of 4 courts that are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. These courts are open on a first-come-first-serve basis from dawn until 10:00 pm.
